While on the keto diet there are times I yearn for bread and most low carb bread recipes have too many ingredients. I got this recipe from Anna’s Kitchen and she found this recipe on thrive-style.com.
The original recipe – (the ham and cheese were added items).
Ingredients (Two sandwich Flatbreads)
1 large egg
1 Tbsp coconut flour
1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese (optional)
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp baking powder
2 pinches of sea salt or any herbs you want
2 Tbsp any kind of milk
You can add fresh herbs to the batter, such as italian or pizza seasoning, then fill with mozzarella cheese and dip in pizza sauce.
It has also been suggested using half and half or heavy cream as the liquid. The bread is fluffiest this way and you can then leave out the baking soda and baking powder.
For the preparation please see the video below.
